It’s People Food!

Yes, you can now become a real people-pleaser by serving Soylent Green Crackers at your next get together!
I stumbled over this gag product, a real product, while hunting up info on the old Soylent Green sci-fi movie starring Charlton Heston and Edward G. Robinson. As far as I can tell, the company making it is no longer in business. 😦
They look like they are made from peas. No, thanks.
Hey, that’s better than what they’re implied to be made of!
Thanks for reminding me of a movie I need to introduce some younger folks to 🙂
Good idea. One scene reminds me of what I feel now and then when I breakfast out! Relishing what was once common and seemingly mundane. Helps me take a little less for granted!
I was just wondering what kind of office decor to add to my cube space that would add that special je n’sais quoi.
I wish it was still possible to buy a box. Then you could add, “I’m so glad these are available pre-made now! Making them at home was such a hassle, and with nosy people asking questions all the time… How am I supposed to know where some neighbor or other went off to?” But no one would walk past your cubical any more, so there’s that.

LOL!
